Terms of Service

1. The Service

Reelio provides web browsing, webpage-entry saving from supported public links, local file management, media preview and playback, Private Space, local-network file transfer, remote configuration, announcements, feedback, and technical support. A saved webpage entry keeps the webpage address and related metadata for later access; it is not an offline webpage copy. Reopening it requires a network connection and the original webpage to remain available. Some features require network access, iOS permissions, or availability of a third-party website or service.

This release does not require a Reelio account, display advertising, or provide memberships, paid feature gates, in-app purchases, subscriptions, or purchase restoration.

2. Lawful and Acceptable Use

You must comply with applicable law, Apple rules, the terms of websites you visit, and the rights attached to content. You must not use Reelio to:

obtain, save, distribute, or use content when you do not have permission or another lawful basis;
infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights;
bypass paywalls, authentication, access controls, digital rights management, or security measures;
distribute unlawful, malicious, fraudulent, harassing, exploitative, or otherwise harmful material;
attack, scan, disrupt, reverse engineer, crack, or tamper with Reelio or third-party services, except where applicable law expressly permits;
perform automated scraping, excessive requests, or activity that may impair a website or service.

3. Third-Party Websites and Content

Websites, pages, files, videos, images, and other content accessed through Reelio are provided by you or third parties. Reelio does not provide a content catalog, recommend specific third-party sources, or host third-party web content. We do not control and cannot guarantee the accuracy, legality, safety, availability, or continued compatibility of third-party content or websites.

Your logins, transactions, communications, and actions on third-party websites are between you and the relevant third party. Website changes, regional restrictions, authentication, content formats, or technical controls may cause browsing or saving features to stop working.

4. Your Files and Responsibilities

You are responsible for files and links you import, save, play, move, share, or place in Private Space. You must ensure you have the right to access and use them. Keep backups of important files. Removing Reelio may permanently remove content stored only in the app sandbox.

5. Privacy and Security

Please read the Privacy Policy for information about local storage, permissions, device and network technical information, network requests, and service providers. Private Space, app passcodes, and Face ID / Touch ID are local access controls; they are not cloud backup services or guarantees of absolute security.

6. Intellectual Property

Reelio's software, interface, branding, documentation, and related materials are protected by intellectual property law and belong to us or the relevant rights holders. Except as permitted by applicable law or an applicable open-source license, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, sublicense, or create derivative works from them.

7. Service Availability and Changes

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features for product, legal, security, compatibility, or operational reasons. We will make reasonable efforts to operate the service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, permanent compatibility with any website, or continued availability of an online provider.

8. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reelio is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that Reelio will be error-free, uninterrupted, compatible with every website or file, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss arising from use of or inability to use Reelio, including loss of local data, inaccessible third-party content, business loss, or third-party claims. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may restrict access to online services when reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, security threats, abuse, or material violations of these Terms. You may stop using and delete Reelio at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination remain effective.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when Reelio, applicable law, or our operations change. Material changes will be communicated by updating this page or through an in-app notice where appropriate. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.
